Backstory: I’m 21 years old currently pursuing a marketing degree. I have complete aspirations to one day own and operate my own marketing company later in my life and I think I might see a potential opening to jump start those ambitions.
Question: I live in a fairly large town that has many local car dealerships, boutiques, restaurant all of which have virtually no marketing foothold. Am I crazy to believe that once I cultivate a portfolio (which I also believe I have the means to do) I would be able to target some of these business and potentially get my foot in the door? In the past I have experience with social media marketing and SEO which I believe would be relatable.
I’m spitballing ideas at individuals who are most likely far more experience and potentially have already traveled this path. I appreciate any comments this post gets.
