I am working on planning out a new business and I am trying to figure out how to get 25 potential customers to answer a short survey that I figure will take 5 minutes if they put the least detail I need and up to 20 minutes if they put a long reply to the one question.
My niche is marinas, marine dealer, marina rental companies and while I am active in the boating community I don't have many connections to business owners and the places I go frequently are often not business owners that I could contact. I have spent the whole day working on the possible ones I can through the channels I know of but what else are good channels for finding people to fill out my survey or at least answer a basic question if they say yes to another one. Pretty much my qualifications for weather they would be a potential customer is that they say they would use a product like I am planning and then I'd like to know what they think it should include.
I have done a lot of comparing online resources for what I should include in my product but I want to get feedback from potential customers before I spend the next year building it.
Please if you have nothing nice to say just don't make the post/sub toxic.
