Where and how to find first investors?

Hello,

i was searching other posts but couldn't find anything about this topic. (it could be that my search is wrong)

I've made a project it's nearly all complete and i've gotten really good feedback from the people that saw it. Once i finish i will do beta test with 50+ people and fix issues if they arise. After that i was planning on offering this software as SaaS to transportation companies.

I am currently working but from reading about it - starting a business takes a lot of time and energy. And since i want to do good job i need to support myself somehow.

How did you find your first investments or cash or loans? i believe those are called friends and family donations - money that you first get for your business idea. Now i dont have family or friends that could help me with this so i am looking for outside help right away. Maybe an angel investment would be amazing 10-15k would suffice me for a year of full time development. By that time App would be rocket ship!

Could you offer any advice or resources? How do you get initial money?
