Guys, I need help here. My parents own a gas station in a rural middle of nowhere area, and it is destroying their relationship due to how much of financial hardship owning it is. They are not too old (in their 40’s and 50’s), but they’re uneducated and lack much skill (and perhaps incentive) to go and get an actual well paying job. I am a student, and it is difficult for me to even support them at this current point.
The store is hard to sell (it is worth $500K) as its profit/sale is too low. It is extremely slow given its area. Or I guess they really have not tried to sell it whatsoever, anyone got options on selling it? Selling it is their major goal in life.
