To all the e-commerce shop owners and drop-shippers, do you see Messaging Apps as a viable sales channel for your store? I've been building chatbots for a while now, and I've been toying around a few ideas; notably, one to build a "Shopify for Chatbots" of sorts. I have a small sample, but across the chatbots I've come across and built, I've usually observed a better conversion rate than traditional e-commerce platforms. It's a much more guided and personal experience. In the case where a bot can't respond to the customers' request, a human agent could get notified to help.
In a world where the e-commerce channels are multiplying, do you think Messenger is a viable one?
