What kinds of businesses would you pursue if you want to keep your full time job but aren't ready to run a "real" startup with investors, employees, etc. I've had few smaller side businesses doing dropshipping and selling handmade goods online, and now I'm looking for something a little different. Maybe something a little more demanding where I can get more business experience, like a "part-time self employed" gig, if that makes any sense. I'm open to anything from manual labor to manufacturing to opening a franchise. (Okay, that might take a little more than I want to put into it.) Let's say I'd like to keep my own investment under $10K (unless the idea is really good) and maybe 20-30 hours a week. Would like something with annual revenue in the range of, say, 5-50K. I know that's a wide range... just curious what kinds of ideas people come up with besides the usual cliches (e-commerce, consulting).
