I want to give myself a challenge, something like 3 weeks to make a profit doing ________. Anyone had any experience with this sort of thing?

I've seen a lot of posts of people making websites, starting business with a set amount of time. I figured it might be a good way to gain traction for whatever the idea is. Has anyone got any tips on doing something like this?
