My company I founded with my main business partner 6 months ago is going to be a big move this upcoming year, and I want a solid strategy for how to split the money when there are big cash flows. So far we have been doing mostly Instagram management for clients but we are pushing now towards content creation and are working with 5+ Influencers who will be posting on our YouTube channel. Pretty much they create videos such as workout how-to's and fitness, entrepreneur advice, etc. They hand over the videos to me and I handle all the branding and editing to make it look professional, then post it on all content channels. This is then monetized through eBooks, products, adsense, etc through a variety of places. I handle all the backend work including website development and all the tedious work. My partner pretty much handles the front end line of speaking with clients right now. I am the CEO and I know I am probably overthinking it but I just want to make sure I have a solid revenue split plan put into place so that everything is fair. For example, him getting a big split of the Instagram side of things and me handling all the cash flows that come in from everything else.
My question on a simplistic level is, how to you generally handle revenue splits with your business partners and influencer partnerships/employees?
