Help with traffic to landing page. This situation is a bit different-details in comments.

Thanks for reading. I have an extremely talented programmer who is willing to build my site on a contingency of ownership.

He has built a landing page for the purpose of proof of concept prior to starting to build and wants a few thousand signups.

I am not great at social media; I don't have the number of followers this will take to get off the ground.

Realizing this is a great opportunity but also knowing I may lose it is the reason I'm asking for help here.
