Hi, I want to start my own alternative streetwear brand. As the niche of selling tees is not what we can call a niche anymore, I want to create a brand, not just a business. In a way people get identified and want to use them.
I want to create something related to japanese (sub)culture, associated with alternative people (tattooed/rocker) in a way it looks good to western taste. So I'm thinking about some japanese word that sounds nice to western ears but at same time be strong to people remember it.
My family have a small uniform business, so I can get some help with the product. But first I want to create and develop the brand. I see that many brands of this niche invest heavily on Instagram. It's a really early project and I really here to listen to you more experienced entrepreneurs (always wanted to run a store, but now have the mind and dedication for it).
