Hello all. I am looking to buy a franchise - I've been analyzing several and narrowing them down to a couple I'm really interested in. I'm curious to hear from people who have attempted, successfully or unsuccessfully to obtain a franchise. My worry is that I was out of the workforce for a long time, my only work experience is retail and office work, I have no managerial or business background. I'm worried that they will just outright reject me as a franchise owner because of that lack of experience, regardless of my capabilities. Pretty much my only selling point that's verifiable is the money in my bank account.
What have been some of your experiences with trying to purchase a new franchise?
