Hey guys
I started a business 2 years ago, it's running so-so. I'm making $40k (EBIT) a year, I don't have to do much work as I just pick up customer phone calls and give the work to my employees. It's also a seasonal outdoor business so it only runs 8 months a year, so I have tons of free time especially now.
I kinda burned out this year due to the lack of further growth opportunities, therefore, reduced excitement. We don't need to get into why it has limited growth opportunities (it won't make me a lot more next year, I might hit $60k EBIT but that's not much).
Do you guys have any personal stories on plateauing as an entrepreneur? I consider entrepreneurship a career (ie. a means to make a living) as I'm not really looking to change the world or invent some crazy shit.
I'm just sitting at home all day doing nothing these days. The passion is gone, my passion for my current business is gone (but of course I will maintain it's income performance), so it's just like a job with very little work involved.
I need to make more income but not really passionate about any other business idea ATM.
