I’ve been wanting to create a marketplace for a certain niche — I have my own product to sell buy I also want to invite other sellers who offer products in the same niche that are complementary to mine. I’ve tried those ready-made marketplaces but there’s always something missing or the platform is not customisable enough. So I’ve decided to ask a developer to create one from scratch given all the features that I want.
Question is — would anyone also be interested in starting their own marketplace? Since I’m already spending money on this, might as well create a platform where people get to create their own marketplace and pay a minimal monthly fee for it instead of paying thousands of dollars.
