Hiya, I and my colleagues are working on a project and I thought it want to hear what you think of the product, before we put it on the market. Anything that comes to your mind, please share, the harsher, the better!
We are developing Cloud8, a simplified NAS device. For those who do not know what NAS is, it is an abbreviation for Network Attached Storage. Simply put, there are more than one way to save and share your files on the internet, many people use G Drive, Dropbox because it's (partially) free... up to a certain point and if you want to use more and get out of those boundaries, you have to pay quite a bit of money to subscribe on a monthly basis as long as you use it. Then there's another solution, NAS. You can buy one and make your own cloud server with that. But, then we realised that many people do not know about NAS and also, the set up procedure could be quite discouraging for non-experts, a majority of people.
So, Cloud8 features one-stop set up - You know your WIFI password? You're good to go, it's as simple as that - and easily expandable storage - users only have to stack one module upon another, when they're full, un-stack them and stack new ones like LEGO blocks - in order to share this technology with a wider spectrum of people, ultimately, the general public from all age categories and gender.
As we have not yet posted this project on crowdfunding platforms, our website (http://cloudeight.io) has not much to offer yet. (Not like some projects on crowdfunding sites, we want to finish developing first, which is around the corner now, then start fundraising) But you could help us with a piece of advice. Also if you could spare 2 minutes to answer this survey (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSctA3dTcHbgZGhq08D7CD4vQx-rfR1s1JmFozgxl-b41i9o6Q/viewform?usp=sf\_link), it would be most appreciated. We do not have any give-out budget at the moment, but when it reaches 100 responses, I'll buy 10 of 'em a coffee coupon (at least).
Cheers, everybody!
