To celebrate International Women’s Day, Superdrug unveils its new customer campaign, Faces of the Future. The campaign will champion causes that matter to its customers and give up-and-coming young voices a platform from which to be heard, as well as educating and inspiring future generations to come.
Superdrug is launching a nationwide search to find the next Faces of the Future, calling for passionate voices to enter for the chance to receive mentorship from Superdrug and partners, to help get their causes heard.
To inspire customers, Superdrug is collaborating with three inspirational young women who are already championing positive change – Ella Daish (environmental activist), Char Ellesse (gender equality campaigner) and Georgia Rankin (disability advocate and influencer). Further to this, Superdrug’s charity partners Beauty Banks (the people-powered grassroots movement fighting hygiene poverty) and Modern Muse (the charity that empowers and inspires young girls by connecting them with hundreds of successful female role models) will be offering mentorship and guidance along the way.
Three successful candidates will be unveiled as Superdrug’s next Faces of the Future in April and will receive valuable charity mentorship from Jo Jones and business advice from Superdrug’s Head of Marketing, Gemma Mason and ongoing support from the three inspiring young voices of today.
Gemma Mason, Head of Marketing at Superdrug said, “Superdrug is proud to champion all voices of change, and topics such as diversity, gender, inclusion, equality, disability & sustainability are all causes high on our customer’s agenda. The aim of the Faces of the Future campaign is to show that, no matter whether you are an activist campaigning for a change in law and legislation, or if you’re using your authentic self as a vehicle to shift perception – your voice can and should be heard!”
Jo-Jones Co-Founder of Beauty Banks said, “I feel incredibly privileged to be part of a campaign that gives young people a platform to amplify their voice and champion their cause and their message. Superdrug are already ardent supporters of my cause – Beauty Banks – and have enabled us to do more than we ever thought possible. So, when the opportunity came up for me to be involved in this campaign I jumped at it. I can’t wait to share what I’ve learned about activism and championing my cause with those at the beginning of their journey.”
Customers can enter and explain their causes by posting a 60 second video on Instagram, tagging @superdrug and #SDFacesOfTheFuture. For more details on how to get involved visit www.superdrug.com/csr/faces-of-the-future.
