A buddy and I have some money saved up and want to start some sort of business. We've looked into things like clothing brands, to house flipping and other little things-- (Crazy shit I've heard teens converse about but never go through with.)
A little about me: I'm a self-educated web dev that was given a tremendous opportunity to create a website for two different clients. My friend works with his father building cabinets for newly manufactured homes. We've only started talking about a desirable business for 2-3 weeks now and are still trying to determine what it is we should do. We both realize the work needed to create a startup in any facet of business requires a plan, money, and long-term commitment that most times doesn't yield results/profit. I know I haven't given you guys much in what we're looking for-- But any type of advice that can lead us in the right direction is tremendously appreciated.
