First let me clarify. I am a young entrepreneur looking for new business opportunities. V.R.I.N score is a metric that has been thought of as the model for how much you will be paid. It stands for value, rarity, Inimitability, and Non-substitutability- Each factor is ranked on a scale of 1 to 10 and then added up to the total V.R.I.N score on a scale of 4 to 40. If you score a perfect 40 you are projected to be a billionaire. Two simple case studies to demonstrate V.R.I.N are Facebook and a laborer. Facebook: on value they score a 10. Their capacity to reach demographics for targeting ads strategically for optimal and cheap returns is unprecedented. It is an unbelievable advertising tool. I think i once read that it costs 4 million dollars for a superbowl ad where 111 million people on average watch. On Facebook that would cost around 777,000 dollars and due to the targeting you would triple or even quadruple your total purchases. On rarity they're a 10. This is self-evidant. They have more users and user data than any other social media platform and a much greater marketing capacity. On Inimitability again a 10. By definition only Mark Zuckerberg could create it. On Non-substitutability again a 10. No other platform is as powerful and can reproduce it's exact results. Add that up and it equals to billions and billions of dollars. Now let's take a worker. On value i would say a 10 since their boss can't dispense with them. On rarity a 1 since there are many workers. On inimitability a 1 since most human beings can do that. Finally on Non-substitutability i would say a 7-8 due to automation. Add that up and it equals to a lousy wage. When i say competetitive feasibility i mean 2 things. First there is not too much competition. 2nd the competition i would have are not whales. I want the poker table with no sharks, only guppies and few ones at that. Which idea of yours is the best on this scale and what market opportunities are the best on this scale?
