I run a business and over the past few days I’ve began attempting to market on Instagram. Part of that marketing includes me following about 100 people per day. This lead to my account being put on a follow cool-down. Before the cool-down when I posted a picture with hashtags I was getting so many likes I had to turn notifications off. Ever since cool-down I’m lucky if I even get 1 like. Did Instagram penalize me by making my hashtags not work anymore? Or was I only getting a ton of likes at the beginning because it was a new account and Instagram wanted to fluff me up? Any way to fix this problem?
