Coupons seem to have one of three profit models: (1) sell bulk coupons to consumers (yuck!); (2) build a base and charge the businesses for hosting or sharing their coupons (interesting); or (3) negotiating a percentage of any purchase that uses the coupons.
Three seems to appeal to me. It seems to be a more sustainable and potentially profitable business model assuming you are good at getting people to use them. I'd love to hear your guys' thoughts on these models, and specifically how much percentage I should expect to negotiate from model three.
