Hi! I'm 21 years old and plan on starting my own Inspection Service Business related to Oil and gas sector a few years after I graduate as a Mechanical Engineer.
When I graduate, I will have ~6 years experience in the business as an Inspector.
Could perhaps some of you tell me about some books related to this? I got the name down, logo, portofolio done.
I'm looking for advice on these subjects:
-Starting out (do I carry out services myself or lower my earnings by hire/renting in an inspector?)
-Requirements/Certification preffered to run a business (ISO:9001 and the likes)
- General advice on how to run a small service business and then expanding
- How do I find out the legal requirements to run a business?
- How to price my services? How to find out my competitions rate?
In general I'm very new to the business aspect of this, therefore I will appreciate ANY help! :)
