I’m curious if anyone here has digital marketing experience in the cannabis/hemp industry? I’m looking for some ideas as I launch a new CBD brand, and both FB and Instagram currently prohibit ads.
It seems that most new companies are heavily leveraging IG influencers to help increase brand awareness, and Ive also come across a few niche specific cannabis marketing agencies. When i dig in deeper to the agency's client accounts, I’m finding that their IG content seems decent however the engagement is poor.
In addition to focusing on SEO for my site, and getting the product into the hands of bloggers/YouTubers/etc, am i better served going with a cannabis specific agency, or should i focus on finding someone more general who really knows IG growth strategy and can help curate content/grow my user base by targeting the right demographic? There are a number of IG growth companies who claim to be able to significantly grow my following by targeting the right people through their large influencer networks.
