Hi guys,
I've been hearing and seeing the same issues coming up in my industry (health and fitness) over and over again, and my business is capable of providing a solution so now I need some help getting through the noise of social media and testing this concept with real customers.
In a nutshell, here's what I keep hearing in talking to people: - Fitness influencers and online fitness coaches with roughly 10-50K followers who are struggling to figure out how to monetize their brand. - Many are either, A) Not monetizing at all, B) Only using affiliate links, or C) Only offering unscalable services like 1:1 coaching. - Most want "passive income" but have no idea how to get started. - They are either burning out from providing unscalable "dollars for hours" services or overwhelmed trying to create revenue streams. - They see other influencers/coaches offering infoproducts (ebooks, courses, guides, etc.) but don't have the skills to build these revenue streams and the marketing systems to support it.
Here's where we come in: - My team and I have Master's degrees in exercise, nutrition, and psychology. Essentially, we're qualified and capable of creating high-quality, science-backed content and infoproducts. - We can ghostwrite the content and products for the influencer/coach based on their followers' needs, create the marketing funnels, email sequences, opt-ins, etc., and then help them build their brand voice into it. - We (ideally) do a revenue sharing model for the money generated through these new infoproducts and we continue to optimize the funnels and update the content in exchange for an ongoing revenue split.
My questions for you guys:
-
What will be the most effective way to reach out to these influencers to build trust if they don't know us? LinkedIn would be a professional avenue, but most influencers may only be reachable through DMs. Would a custom video detailing how we could help be higher impact than just a text? Any ideas here would be hugely helpful.
-
Do you see any big holes in this proposed business model?
-
As we're in the testing phase of this business model, I've not yet spent time developing a brand around it (e.g., no website or company name) until it is validated. Do you think reaching out as a consultant will be credible enough to warrant a response, or would an MVP version of this still necessitate a basic website and company name that establishes some level of credibility?
Thanks a ton for any help here!
