I own a bridal boutique that has been struggling recently

Hi r/Entrepreneur, I’m new to reddit and I’m not sure if this is the right sub for this, but any help or guidance to the appropriate sub would be appreciated. Also, English is my second language so please forgive me for the poor grammar.

I own a boutique in the US that sells bridal dresses. I’ve been running it for over 10 years now. I never really got into much marketing/advertising besides local magazines and trade shows. For the past couple years, I’ve seen a steady decline in business in both marketing and sales. Less customers + lower percentage of sales made.

I’ve tried to do some google ads and social media on my own, but I feel like I’m in over my head. I tried hiring a marketing manager, but she’s also struggling to bring in customers. I just don’t know what to do next.

We are a retail store that carries different designers/vendors and all of our sales are made at the store front. We are not allowed to sell online due to designer contracts. I think this has been a huge deal in the age of online shopping. I sometimes find that potential customers are coming in to work with our consultants to find their gown/fittings only to leave and purchase from a wholesaler or another store. I feel helpless in this situation. Any help/advice would be appreciated.
