Help on how to love and support my entrepreneur boyfriend who has an already demanding day job(50+ hours).

Hi entrepreneurs,

I have been lurking on here and I love the advice you all give. I have a personal ask, and I hope this is an okay forum. I need perspective and wisdom on how to build a life with my entrepreneur boyfriend.

29(F) and 31(M) together 6 months with plans to get married and kids in the future. His full-time job is very good and demanding on his time ~50 hours. Him and his best friend also run a 3 year old international shipping company and so he is mostly on the phone whenever he is home, putting out fires and what not. His energy and moods also get depleted, understandably so.

I love seeing him grind. However I do not know what to do with myself in this relationship since our time is very limited to maybe 3 hours a week or so. I fear that if I become too independent off him, then I will be too independent for him, and I will lose our bond. I almost exercised my choice to leave, but realized it would be because of lack of information on how to navigate this relationship and not out of any other reason.

So, Entrepreneurs, what role do your girlfriends/boyfriends/spouses play in your lives? How do you realistically maintain a relationship with little facetime? And how do you want to be loved/supported?
