Hey There! I have some free time between my next project and this sub helped me a few times already. That is why I am offering to design and code a website for one of you guys. The special thing about this is, I will use Jekyll.
What is so special about this? I will code and design the page, and create it with Jekyll and GitHub pages. Basically what this means is, you don't need to pay anything for Hosting. No monthly costs for you. You can read more about this here: https://pages.github.com/
I already posted a few times about this here, but people were always complaining that it is not a big help, because not everyones know how to code. That is why I am here to help
What is the catch? No catch. I will create everything and and you will be in control of everything at the end. The only money you could spend, is for an own Domain. You don't need to though, since you can also use the github domain. However, since it is more professional I would recommend it, a Domain cost approx. 9$ per year and I will be not using any affiliate links or stuff like this.
conditions? The website must be static, which means: no e-commerce shop, no dynamic content (content created by your visitors), which usually shouldn't be a problem. Also the website shouldn't be something too crazy, so nothing that contains 100 and 100 of pages. Everything else is cool. I might be using the page for my portfolio, thats it.
I already set up a few pages with Jekyll and all I can say is, that it works pretty good in terms of SEO.
