We are starting a subscription box for artisan cheese and we were curious if anyone had any idea or experience with shipping food across the states and the legality behind it?
We will not be producing the cheese, rather buying it whole sale from farms and creameries and shipping it out monthly to customers.
Should we incorporate before beginning and find insurance? We need to keep the cheese cold and have a plan on shipping it packed correctly.
Does anyone know who would be the best person or type of lawyer to chat with? It’s a start up with friends in our 20s so we don’t have a ton of capital to toss around prior to launch.
