I live in a small town of 6,000 people that sits on a major highway where all traffic goes right through the town. The main employers here are the school system, hospital, and farming. Outside of those we already have two grocery stores and plenty of farming suppliers.
I’ve been searching for ideas of entrepreneurial opportunities for some time but am at a loss of starting a business that would not have direct competition or become unprofitable quickly.
Has anyone here ever started a business in the same position of living in a small town?
